  We spent 3 nights in Kawhia for the Kawhia Kai festival.
  We really enjoyed our stay there.This is an unspoilt place very well away of the concept of modern and noisy holiday.
  We stayed on a cabin at the Forest view camp two adults and a child.
  The cabin was pretty basic ,but very charming for us. If you expect stylish decoration and comfort,this is not for you.
  This is bach type accommodation and we loved for that.It was clean and well equiped with kitchen facilities, good fridge and all what you need to cook or prepare basic food.
  No toilet on the cabin, but showers and communal facilities were clean and adequate.
  Pauline the owner was really friendly and accommodating and the prices right.
  Do not forget to bring cash to Kawhia as there are not cash machines.
  
  We loved any moment we spent in Kawhia
